Cheesy Stadium ruined the experience :(
I was highly disappointed that we went to this event. The stadium is not a real football stadium. The parking lots are all made of grass, weeds, and dirt (and these were the "official" lots). All of the official lots were reserved for people with permits, so everyone else has to park in people's yards or at local small businesses (all of which looked sketchy). The residents were all too happy to set their own prices and allow it, however. The neighborhood is rather run down but fortunately most people turned out to be very friendly. I was a visiting fan, so I'm accustomed to very nice accomodations with lots of official staff, security, police, procedures, and protocols. Most of the staff here appeared to be working a part time gig for which they did not really care. You cannot bring anything into this stadium that's not clear. So ladies, good luck taking anything "personal" that u might need (given that purses are not allowed). The food was horrible and the only decent thing on the food boards was 2 hotdogs (1 completely plain and kid-sized and of which they ran out). Only those cheesy high school style nachos were available. There were also very few "real" drink vendors - just a few guys selling beer from tubs. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing experience. I know the Dolphins are renovating their stadium and that this set-up is temporary but I would not recommend this stadium to anyone and certainly do not plan to ever return. Lastly, there was only 1 "will call" area and it was not remotely close to either entrance that was open to the stadium, so there was lots of back-tracking :(
